May 5, 2019 – Dan received the 2019 ACM SigCHI Lifetime Practice award.  The ceremony took place at the Chi2019 conference held in Glasgow Scotland.  He gave his invited talk on “The Business of UX” to a large audience the following day.  Watch the recording on the SigCHI YouTube channel

April 26, 2019 – Today Dan presented an overview of his approach to interaction design education to the Goggle Material team.   To discuss how interaction design could be better reflected in UI guidelines and language systems.
